UR Gadget Doctors is a brand operated by Computer House Calls, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Computer House Calls, LLC also operates EquineDataSystems.co and EDSIVMS.com as separate business units under the same parent entity. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the repair services, website, and related offerings provided specifically by UR Gadget Doctors, located at 41 Clementon Rd, Store 133, Berlin, NJ 08009. By bringing a device to us for repair or by using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Repair Services
All repairs are performed in-store by our certified technicians. We do not provide remote or pop-up technical support. When you leave a device with us, you authorize us to inspect, diagnose, and perform the agreed-upon repair. We will contact you for approval before performing any additional repairs beyond what was originally discussed.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Diagnostic assessments may be subject to a fee, which will be disclosed before any work begins. All repair estimates are subject to change if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
3. Turnaround Time
We strive to complete most repairs quickly. Turnaround times vary depending on the type of repair, parts availability, and current workload. We will provide an estimated completion time when your device is checked in and will notify you of any delays.
4. Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty on our labor and parts for qualifying repairs. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts installed by our technicians. It does not cover damage from accidents, liquid exposure after repair, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. Warranty service must be performed at our location.
5. Device Pick-Up and Abandonment
You are responsible for picking up your device within 30 days of notification that your repair is complete or that a repair cannot be performed. Devices not claimed within 60 days after notification may be considered abandoned and disposed of at our discretion. We are not responsible for data loss on abandoned devices.
6. Data and Personal Information
You are responsible for backing up all data on your device before bringing it in for service. We are not responsible for any data loss that occurs during the repair process. We will not access personal data on your device beyond what is reasonably necessary to perform diagnostics and repairs.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of the repair itself. We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use your device, loss of data, or loss of business. Some repairs may carry inherent risk of further damage; we will inform you of such risks before proceeding.
8. Pre-Existing Conditions
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or unrelated issues discovered after a repair. If your device has pre-existing damage or issues that are not related to the service performed, those issues remain the customer’s responsibility.
9. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair and before the device is returned to you. We accept cash, credit cards, and other payment methods as posted in-store. Returned checks are subject to a fee.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Camden County, New Jersey. These Terms constitute an agreement with Computer House Calls, LLC, operating as UR Gadget Doctors.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
